Work Training for the Healthcare Career

 

This is a bridge program providing concrete “next steps” for those who seek a career in health care and find they need an opportunity to develop stronger reading/writing/math skills, job readiness skills, and computer literacy skills. Participants must have successfully obtained a GED or High School Diploma, and where applicable, have completed an Advanced English as a Second Language class. Participants who complete the Work Training for Healthcare Program will be eligible to enter training to become either a Phlebotomy technician, an EKG technician or a Pharmacy technician. Certificates will be given upon completion of these trainings.
